Zoo Lights is our after-dark experience that transforms the Zoo into a glowing winter wonderland, daily after 4:00 PM through January 10, 2026. Walk the 1km outdoor lighted loop of giant glowing Chinese lanterns and glimmering light tunnels. The Zoo Lights walking trail will take you through five themed areas including nutcracker boulevard, mystic grove, spirits of the wild, dragon's passage, and the zodiac trail.
Wonder awaits around every corner.

4:00 PM – 9:00 PM (last entry at 8:00 PM)
Arctic Express Train will be in operation after 4:00 PM daily ($6)
Parking may be purchased upon arrival at the Zoo for $8.00 per vehicle.
*Guests aged 12 and under must be accompanied by an adult aged 19+.
*Please note this is an after-dark experience and no animals will be viewable after 4pm.
Members do not need to purchase Zoo Lights tickets. Entry is included with a membership.
After 4pm, embark on a journey across the frozen North to help researchers track a missing reindeer!
NOTE: this ride is after dark, and Zoo animals will not be visible.
