The donation funds will go directly towards the conservation initiatives and education programming, as well as the care and enrichment of the animals at GVZoo.
The Greater Vancouver Zoo is dedicated to the conservation, preservation, and protection of endangered species. We are a privately-run facility solely relying on our visitors and our wonderful zoo community to operate the zoo on a year-round basis. This includes everything from animal health care, food, and the facilities. By becoming a ZooParent you truly are making a difference for all of us here at the zoo and animals around the world.
Each support program is 12-months from the date of purchase.

By joining GVZoo's ZooParent program, you are helping support the GVZoo. Specific animals may not be adopted, but rather a species. There is no limit on the number of supporters or 'ZooParents' for each species. The ZooParent program is in place to help our supporters gain a platform of recognition, and community.
Availability for certain plushies, artwork, or experiences may be limited, if unavailable we will look for substitutes of equal or greater value. Name additions to our online recognition list will be completed weekly and to the ZooParent board here at GVZoo within approximately 2 weeks. Your name will be posted for a year (12-months) plus the remainder of the month of purchase.
Items received from the program may take 1-2 weeks to become available. When visiting the Zoo, visit Grizzly Gifts for purchases and to redeem online purchase (ZooParent, Adventurer, Explorer) and Guest Services (Biologist, Zookeeper, Conservationist).
