Join us for a one-day special event at the Zoo on May 23rd, from 10 AM - 4 PM, celebrating imagination, nature, and community. Explore themed experiences across the grounds, meet iconic characters, and discover the wildlife that shares our own world. Young adventurers are encouraged to dress for the occasion in their favourite galactic-inspired attire.
This is more than an adventure. It is a mission to connect story and stewardship, and to celebrate the real-world species that need our protection.

Meet iconic characters and take part in unforgettable photo opportunities at designated locations throughout the Zoo. This is your chance to step into the story, meet legendary figures, and create memories worth sharing across the galaxy.
This experience is by donation, and all funds raised support conservation efforts through our on-site partner, Wildlife Preservation of Canada. Your support helps protect the Western Painted Turtle, Oregon Spotted Frog, Taylor Checkerspot Butterfly, and their habitats right here at home.
Every photo helps power real-world conservation because even the smallest action can bring balance to the ecosystem.

Throughout the Zoo, you may come across roaming Jedi Knights, mischievous Ewoks, curious Droids, and other surprise visitors from across the stars. These character encounters bring unexpected moments of fun and storytelling as you explore.
Along your journey, stop at themed outposts scattered across the Zoo. Each station offers an immersive experience inspired by a galaxy far, far away, including face painting for fundraising, discovery tables, scavenger hunts, galactic trivia, and more! These stops invite you to pause, interact, and become part of the adventure unfolding around you.
