Habitat:
Found on the islands of Hawaii, Ne-ne Geese spend their time in sparsely to densely vegetated beach strands, shrublands, grasslands and woodlands.

Diet:
Hawaiian Ne-ne Geese graze and browse on the leaves, seeds, berries and flowers of grasses, herbs and shrubs.

Median Life Expectancy:
5 years - Males
6 years - Females

Biology:
These geese have a black face and crown and cream-coloured cheeks. Their necks are pale beige with black streaks. Their bill, legs and feet are black and the males are typically larger.
