Habitat:
Ankole Cattle are found in Uganda, Tanzania, Rwanda, Burundi and Eastern Africa.

Diet:
They can survive on sparse grass and shrubs as well as limited water.

15 years

Biology:
Ankole Cattle can weigh up to 1,600 pounds and are often a solid colour but can be spotted or speckled. Both males and females have the largest horns of any species of cattle that can spread nearly 2 meters across. Their horns help disperse excess body heat as blood circulation through the horns is cooled and returned to the body.
